Terms of use
The deal, in plain terms.
These are the terms you agree to by using WellParsed. They are written to be read rather than skipped.
Last updated 8 August 2026.
What the service does
WellParsed reads a job posting, compares it against your resume and your experience library, asks you about what is missing, and composes a resume from answers you have approved. It is a writing and interview tool. It does not apply to jobs, does not contact employers, and never acts on your behalf.
Your content stays yours
Your resume, your answers and everything composed from them belong to you. You give us permission to store and process that material only to provide the service to you — including sending parts of it to the providers named in the Privacy page. We do not use it to train models and we do not sell it. That permission ends when you delete your data.
What you are responsible for
- That what you tell us is true. The product will not invent achievements for you, and it cannot check whether the ones you give it are accurate.
- Reading anything before you send it to an employer. You are the one applying.
- Only submitting material you have the right to use — your own history, not someone else’s.
- Keeping access to your email if you sign in, since that is how you get back in.
What we do not promise
No interviews, no offers, no job. Nobody can promise those, and a tool that implies otherwise is selling you something it cannot deliver. We also cannot promise a given employer’s screening software will read a resume any particular way — every one differs, and they change without notice.
The service is provided as it is. Language models make mistakes: the product is built to make that visible, by tying every line to something you approved and refusing to export a line it cannot trace, but it is your judgement that decides what gets sent.
Free and paid
Pasting jobs, reading coverage, answering questions, growing your library and previewing a resume on screen are free. Exporting a file — PDF or DOCX — needs an active plan:
- Weekly sprint, $10 per week.
- 6-month search, $60 for six months.
Plans renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next charge and leaves the plan running until the period you have paid for ends; nothing you have already built is taken away when it does. Prices are in US dollars and may change, but never for a period you have already paid for. Payments are handled by Stripe under their terms.
Refunds
If the product fails to do what this page says it does, write to us and we will refund you. We would rather return the money than argue about a week.
Acceptable use
Do not use WellParsed to impersonate someone, to submit a history that is not yours, to break the law, or to attack the service or the people using it. We may suspend an account that does.
Ending it
You can stop at any time and delete everything from Settings. We may end an account for a breach of the section above, or if we stop running the service — in which case we will give you notice and time to export what you have.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to what you have paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for lost opportunities, lost earnings, or a job you did not get.
Changes
If these terms change materially, the date at the top changes and we will say so in the product before the change applies to you.
